KULIR
2022

A research and sculpture project that built the fundamentals of a chair while questioning scientific areas of thermodynamics and cultural impact of thermodynamics. How would everyday objects mutate if they could?

Kulir is made of sanded steel, saree, and mini hand held fans. It exists in a world that is hyper aware of Heat as a political force. And so, it resists. How would objects in our environment function in such a world when they are coded with a function?

Created with the thoughts, inputs and perspectives of Amina Ross and Catherine Telford Keough.
